U.S. Engineering Company's Give Back Program Helps Children At Kaw Valley Center

Kaw Valley Center (KVC) began its rich history of providing children and family services when the agency first opened its doors as a private, not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization in 1970.  Their continuum of care aids children and families in need.

In 1996 the employees of U.S. Engineering Company's Kansas City office started a "Give Back" program by adopting 12 children and providing them with Christmas gifts with a goal of getting them everything on their Christmas lists.  2010 has been a record setting "Give Back" year adopting 38 children bringing our total program total to 368 children.  The gifts were boxed up and delivered on Monday, December 13th and delivered by Santa to KVC.  Santa's sleigh looked like a 1 ton with a U.S. Engineering Logo on it.

The Kansas City Star included U.S. Engineering Company in their dollars & sense section.
