U.S. Engineering Company Wins Outstanding Mechanical Installation Awards for HVAC
The Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Kansas City recently announced the winners for the 2009-2010 Outstanding Mechanical Installation (OMI) awards. U.S. Engineering Company has been chosen as the HVAC Project winners on two projects, Liberty Hospital Cardiology Central Plant Addition and Renovations and Bank of America Data Center Expansion.
The OMI Awards is a biannual event that recognizes the outstanding mechanical work that has been completed within the previous two years by contractors and signatory to Pipe Fitters Local 533. Entries for the OMI Awards were submitted in three major categories - HVAC, process piping, and refrigeration and are judged on complexity of work, performance, and safety.
Each of the winners is represented by the building owner, contractor, and project supervisor. A primary purpose of this competition is to recognize, honor, and promote quality workmanship by the union men and women installing the jobs.
