Estimator

Anthony started his career with U.S. Engineering in 1997, as a Plumbing Apprentice.   He further honed his skills in the field as a Journeyman and then Foreman, before moving into the office in the role of Estimator.  In this capacity, Anthony is able to successfully transfer his hands-on operational "know how" into the estimating side of the business.

Anthony is a LEED accredited professional, whose responsibilities now include managing the pricing, material and labor costs in the estimating database, as well as filling in drawings and performing complete takeoff of systems and equipment.  Additionally, he strategizes with the project development team about how to be competitive on jobs and scopes out subcontractors and equipment, before putting a final estimate together.

When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Anthony cites three things:  "Being as detailed as possible to make sure I draw in all of the components to build a complete working system; meeting the deadlines set to complete the estimate; and being able to work with the group of people on my team every day".

On a personal note, Anthony enjoys playing soccer and other outdoor activities with his son, Michael (7).   They live in Arvada, Colorado.
