Richard exemplifies U.S. Engineering's commitment to customer service.  Throughout his 20 years with the company, countless clients have said so.  And it's no wonder.  When asked about what he enjoys most about his job, Richard responds "I enjoy tackling difficult projects and coming up with solutions."   Richard's success with delivering those solutions has resulted in a progressive career into a critical leadership position.

Richard, now Executive Project Manager in the Kansas City Service and Special Projects Division, started his career with U.S. Engineering as a Pipefitter.  He is now responsible for overseeing the full scope of project delivery, from the estimation and design phase, to successful project closeout.  Richard also serves as a key leader in the company by participating on the strategic leadership team and fostering the professional development of others in the department.

"Sometimes with deadlines and customer service emergencies, it is controlled chaos.  But it is very satisfying when the dust settles to know that we were able to handle whatever was thrown our way", says Richard.

And Richard's enthusiasm and passion for excellence are noticed internally as well.  It has been said by those who work closely with him that Richard is such a pleasure to work with - not only because of his keen technical knowledge, but his genuine interest in bringing out the best in others.

Richard has been married to wife Lucia for nearly 23 years.  They have three great kids:  Christian, Natalie, and Charlotte.  The kids enjoy soccer and other sports and outdoor activities, which keeps the family quite busy.
