Mitch
Superintendent
Mitch began his career with U.S. Engineering in 1983, first as an Apprentice in the pipefitter trade, later as Journeyman, then Foreman, General Foreman, and now Superintendent. Through the years, he has gained a diversity of valuable experience that enables him to oversee projects in just about any industry market - commercial, institutional, healthcare, and industrial.
As Superintendent, Mitch is responsible for leading the project crews to complete a project safely, on time, and within budget. What he enjoys most about his job is "working with people from U.S. Engineering and other companies - meeting other people and getting to know them".
Some of those people have been known to say that Mitch has a way of bringing out the best in others. His manager said "Mitch's professional demeanor, extensive trade knowledge and his respect for co-workers make him a strong mentor and highly regarded Superintendent for U.S. Engineering." Mitch is obviously living the company's Core Values each and every day.
Mitch has been married to wife Peggy for 26 years. They have two children, both soon to graduate from college: Lindsey (25) is earning a degree in Elementary Education; and Aaron (23), is earning a Civil Engineering degree. Mitch also has a Granddaughter, Hailey, and enjoys hunting, fishing and boating.
