U.S. Engineering Opens Mid Atlantic Office
November 10, 2011 - Last week, U.S. Engineering put down roots on the east coast by signing a lease on office space in Chantilly, Virginia, just 20 miles outside of Washington D.C. U.S. Engineering has been working on the east coast for more than a year, with the support of temporary office space. They now have sturdy brick and mortar digs.
The Mid Atlantic office is managed by Dale Gerbers, Vice President of Construction Operations and Daniel Rakes, Vice President of Project Development. The office currently consists of 26 employees, including 20 field staff. Keeping everyone busy is a $25 million contract for the Federal Bureau of Prisons Correctional Institute in Hazelton, West Virginia.
With the opening of the Mid Atlantic office, U.S. Engineering plans to expand their presence on the east coast, specifically the D.C. area. Market sectors they are targeting include federal government, commercial office, laboratories, health care, and industrial projects. The potential client base in the area includes many General Contractors and Construction Managers with which U.S. Engineering is currently working in Colorado, Kansas City, and Tennessee. This continued growth is a testament to U.S. Engineering's strength and resilience in a tough economy.
