U.S. Engineering was chosen as the mechanical contractor responsible for installing the plumbing, heating, air conditioning and temperature controls for the Charles Evans Whittaker U.S. Courthouse in downtown Kansas City, MO. The 595,000-square-foot, 11-story (250 ft. high) facility houses 16 courtrooms for the U.S. Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court, Magistrate Court and Bankruptcy Court. Also included are the offices of the U.S. Clerk of the Court, U.S. Probation Office, Pretrial Services, U.S. Marshall's Service, U.S. Trustee, U.S. Attorney and U.S. Tax Court.
