U.S. Engineering Company has provided the National Starch and Chemical plant complex with construction services as an onsite multi-craft contractor under a reimbursable agreement since 1984.

Our onsite staff is responsible to the plant construction superintendent for any new construction, renovations, relocations, maintenance, emergency and/or additions to the facilities for piping, equipment, mechanical systems and associated work.

The long-term excellent working relationship with the plant has also included lump sum capital projects in all facilities (process plant, treatment, warehouse, office, etc.) at this leading producer of cornstarch and by-products.

Our safety and loss control at this site has been excellent and helped this plant win the “National Starch CEO Award” in 1995 for being the best plant worldwide for quality, safety and operations.
