Rockhurst University, offering excellence in higher education since 1910, has been undergoing a major improvement program at its main campus location near Kansas City's cultural district. U.S. Engineering has been the mechanical contracting team member for HVAC and plumbing for this program including: the new Greenlease Gallery; renovation of Xavier Loyola Dormitory; the new Student Activities Hall; remodel of Corcoran Hall; the new Courtyard Bell Tower Fountain (mechanical room and fountain); air-handling unit replacement in Massman Hall; toilet room remodel in Segewick Hall; and two phases to replace the air conditioning at Conway Hall.

U.S. Engineering was brought on board as the mechanical contracting team member on a negotiated GMP arrangement and has provided preconstruction, construction, start-up and maintenance services on a continuing basis. The temperature controls and humidity controls on the HVAC system for Greenlease Art Gallery were critical. The majority of remodel work had to be done on a condensed schedule during the summer months with completion deadlines before the start of fall classes.
