The complex includes a 5,014 room hotel (the world's largest), a 170,000-square-foot casino, in portions of the project. The casino entry is an eight-story, 30,000-square-foot replica of the Emerald City featured in "The Wizard of Oz."

Typical guest rooms average 450 square feet. Seven-hundred-thirty suites range in size from 650 to 6,000 square feet with outdoor Jacuzzis and other world-class amenities.

Building systems included:

  • A total of 12,000 tons of cooling capacity was produced
  • Approximately 2 million pounds (1,000 tons) of fabricated sheet metal ductwork were installed
  • U.S. Engineering completed plumbing for 750 rooms per month
  • Mechanical work was done for facility support areas such as kitchens, restaurants, shops and two, 3,500-seat movie theaters
